To kick-start us into the new year, we are delighted to have confirmed that Tim Hill, Conservation Manager of Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust, will be joining us in Rickmansworth to give a talk on the wonderful world of Dragonflies.
This fascinating talk will provide an introduction to the dragonflies and damselflies of Hertfordshire, their habitats and the changes which may be resulting from climate warming.
As a keen photographer, Tim will also share tips on capturing images of these kaleidoscopes of the natural world.
For this exciting event in Rickmansworth, we are excited to be welcoming Tim Hill, Conservation Manager at Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust to provide an insightful discussion into the world of Dragonflies.
This particular event will be held on the evening of Tuesday 23rd January, starting at the slightly later time of 19:00-21:00 at the Rickmansworth Waterways Education Trust Centre (WD3 1JD).
We will provide teas/coffees, soft drinks and biscuits. Please do let us know in your booking if you have any dietary requirements or allergies that we need to be aware of.
The evening will roughly follow the below schedule:

19:30 – Dragonflies by Tim Hill
20:30 – Final questions and discussions

We have been informed by the venue that free unlimited parking is available at the Tesco Superstore, Frogmoor Wharf, Harefield Rd, Rickmansworth WD3 1LX (see below map). Otherwise there are various public car parks in the area, including Bury Lane car park (WD3 1DW), Talbot Road car park (WD3 1HD) amongst others.
