Tracking the Impact Expansion

In 2023, we teamed up with the Chalk Cherries and Chairs Project (CCC) to extend their successful Citizen Science Project- ‘Tracking the Impact’ looking at our surveying Birds, Butterflies and Plants at a landscape level .

By monitoring in the Chess catchment the project has upped the original coverage of 50 x 1km squares by a fantastic 22 squares within the Chilterns National Landscape.

Whilst the CCC project has now ended, the Chilterns National Landscape team is excited to be working with Rebel Restoration, to continue the funding of this fantastic project, working with the Joint Nature Conservancy Council (JNCC), BBOWT and the Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Natural Environment Partnership.
